Questions to Ask a Potential Web Design Firm

I recently participated in the website redesign process for a group that supports the meeting and group travel industry. The Board of Directors asked if I could put together some questions for the final selection process. I thought this would be good material to share on the blog.

Web Designers and Developers – Take Note! During the review process every person on the selection committee visited the website of the firms that delivered proposals. There were a number of comments about the “lackluster” delivery of some of the firms offerings. I understand the reality of, “The son of the shoemaker has no shoes” but you need to take this to heart if you want to grow your business and land bigger clients. A little SEO would help you be found also. But we’ll save that for another post!

Facebook Works! Real World Example

Facebook is roaring ahead with no let-up in sight.

If you doubt it’s potential you need not look any further than the recent developments in Egypt to feel its’ white-hot power.

But you are a business and business is tough. There aren’t enough hours in the day. Good employees are hard to come by. Taxes are too high and… hey, someone forgot to turn off the coffeepot again…ack!

Your Audience Is Your Priority

Most of our social media clients have been “all new” in the social media marketplace. Our services include both audience building and posting content. But lately, we have seen a number of clients who have had a go of it on their own but aren’t having much success. After all, it is a tough row to hoe when you have -0- followers. And it can be downright depressing, when after 3 months you only have a few more than that! It’s much easier and a lot more fun to find quirky bits and bytes of information to share. But that’s the rub. Who exactly are you sharing this info with? Is this the best use of your time?
