RightNow Communications began in 1991 as a sales and marketing company, based in Aspen, Colorado. In 1997 the company refocused primarily on search engine optimization, and emerging search engine marketing strategies. In 2003, RightNow Communications relocated to Oxnard, California and became an operating division of RightNow, Inc., a California Corporation. In 2012, the company is now located in greater San Diego, California.
